Upgrades can increase the performance of a piece and sometimes even its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements and how many random augmentations are applied.

Reroll Tokens

Players can reroll equipment in three aspects: physical power, spell power and health. Upgrades to physical power boost damage from weapons and melee attack, while upgrades to spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give players an additional level of health.

Three types of reroll tokens are available: upgrade rare and legendary. Each upgrade takes an item to a higher-quality, with the requirement of a higher-quality reroll token order to create it. Upgrades require a regular item. Rare upgrades require an item that is exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

The game will display the requirements when you select the upgrade component that is incorporated into the item. This includes the type of item (either Weapon or Armor) the tier of the item and the Upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.
