1. Engine Speed Sensor

The grey wire is located at the edges of the transmission, just above the flywheel ring. The sensor transmits an electrical signal through the grey wire to pin T55/49. The sensor serves as a reference for comparing with the G40 Camshaft Position Sensor. The ecu must be aware when the crankshaft is TDC and where the camshaft is located so that it can start spark and injectors in the right way.

2. Injectors

Yesterday, while accelerating from the highway paytoll at maximum speed I noticed a massive reduction in power. It was like the engine had run out of gas. Or my injectors weren't firing. I pulled out the spark plugs this morning, 3 were drenched in gasoline and the 4th was dry. I placed a tissue over each hole in the injector and when i start the engine with no sparks, the ones with gazoline jump right out. The 4th one remains shut. I tested the ground connection of ECU pins 14,30, and 48/55. I got zero ohm. Therefore, i think the issue is elsewhere.

I also tried to reset PID but without success. The car can start if the G28 is disconnected and it runs perfectly when it is plugged in however it has intermittent misfire issues at higher RPM. The coolant sensor (G62) even when unplugged, still shows an ice temperature of -49c. I also noticed that the oil gauge in the cockpit shows 2 bars while the actual pressure is zero.

I'm not sure what to do, i feel i have pretty much completely ruled out all other possibilities. However, i'm afraid that I may have missed something. Let me know should you have any suggestions! TIA!

3. Fuel Pump
