Upgrades can boost the power of a piece of equipment and at times even add additional features. The worth of these upgrades is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements, and how many random augmentations can be applied.

For example, the elite shield of racial violence Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb capability in PvP, or to add additional defenses to missile-based builds in PvM. This makes it more marketable over the original version that is not upgraded.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens let you reroll a purchased item, such as a weapon, armor or ring. This replaces the item with an identical item however with different bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective option to upgrade equipment. They don't preserve the original equipment's condition and any money wasted won't get compensated.

The survivors can get tokens to reroll in many ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in chests and crates or buy them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute on the equipment, such as increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.

Players can roll their equipment using three aspects three categories: physical power, magic power, and health. Upgrades to physical power boost the damage caused by weapons and melee attack, while upgrades to spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and the ring. Health upgrades give the player an additional level of health.

Three types of rerolls tokens are available such as upgrade, rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades an item upgrading to a higher-quality and requires a higher-level reroll token in order to create it. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, while rare upgrades require a special or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

In contrast to other special tokens and markers that are placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains in the space until the next successful result is repeated. This is a way to prevent the waste of upgrades.

Blueprints appear as envelopes at the start of each Preparation Phase and are opened by grabbing them using Interact. Once they are open they will display a complete description and icon of the relevant appliance or ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's store for a small amount of coins.

In the course of an event, blueprints may be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool based on selected Franchise Cards. This changes the kind of blueprints that a restaurant's shop offers for rerolls and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

Weapons such as armor, weapons, and other accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These stones are special stones that boost the value of an item by improving its stats or characteristics. These items can be obtained by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a price. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by signing daily contracts.

To upgrade their gear, players must first identify the appropriate item, and then click on the "level up" button. This will show a list of the item's level, and what it will become after being leveled-up. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones needed to accomplish this. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade a piece of gear will depend on its rarity. Most often rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires just one green or blue Growth Stone.

After deciding on the item to upgrade, the user must choose the number of Growth Stones that they want to purchase and pay the cost. When the requirements have been met, the player can then click on the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will increase the item's level a certain percentage. Based on the rarity of the item the upgrade process can take anywhere from seconds to minutes.

The upgrade process is completely risk-free and does not affect the longevity of the item. This is an excellent choice for those who want to get an edge in combat but don't want to burden their wallets. Additionally, players can transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded item to new item by clicking the "transfer" tab.

The process of acquiring Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be daunting for new players. There are many methods to get these stones. You can finish contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, get them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or get them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is a feature that lets players boost the base stats of weapons armor, helms, and trinkets. The Upgrade Station lets you combine an item with upgrade materials, and pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade materials will be used up and the item upgrading will receive a higher level. The process will continue until the item reaches its highest level.

Items that have upgraded stats will display a blue icon next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments cannot be added to more than one item at the same time. Additionally, each upgrade component will require a particular quantity of items to be applied, as well as a minimum amount for the equipment.

The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can place an item upgrader mod to be upgraded. On the right side, previews show what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. When a player has enough materials and has pressed the yellow arrow will begin the upgrade process.

An item of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Every time the item is upgraded, its stats will be increased by a small amount. The maximum level for an item is 19.

Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can slot into weapons, armors trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets to provide an extra effect or attribute bonus while the equipment is equipped. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, acquired by completing quests or exchanged between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, however doing so will damage the previous upgrade, except for glyphs, which can be removed and replaced freely.

Requirements

The upgrade of an item can boost its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can increase the item's statistics.

The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" for instance, increases defense base and adds an additional 20% chance to block. Additionally the dps enhancement "Wildfire" increases damage to weapons.

Upgrades can be beneficial for certain items, but they are not because they increase stats. They are more valuable for the players when they get a perfect roll. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for instance, is highly valued by melee PvP communities and could be worth 20-50 times that of the unupp'd version.

The game will highlight the requirements once you choose the upgrade component that goes into the item. These include the type of item (either weapon or armor) the level of the item and the Upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.

If you've fulfilled the conditions for upgrading The game will then place the item in your inventory and the progress bar will change to indicate how close to completing it. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any upgrader NPC for the item you want to upgrade.
