2. Injectors
Yesterday, when accelerating from highway paytoll at full speed I noticed a significant drop in power. It was as if the engine had run out of gas. Or my injectors weren't firing. I took out the spark plugs this morning, 3 were soaked with gasoline and the 4th was dry. I put tissue over each hole in the injector and when i turn the engine on without sparks, the ones that have gazoline pop right out. The 4th one stays shut. I tried to test the ground connections of ECU pins 14,30 and 48/55. I found zero ohm. I'm assuming the issue is elsewhere.
I also tried to reset the PID but without success. The car will start when the G28 is disconnected, but it runs fine with the G28 connected. However, the intermittent misfire problem still occurs at higher RPM. The coolant temperature sensor (G62) shows the wrong temp value -49c even when i unplug it. Also i noticed that the oil pressure gauge in the cockpit shows 2 bar while the actual pressure is 0.0 when i rev the engine.
I'm not certain what to do, as i believe that i've ruled out everything else. I'm afraid i may have missed something. Let me know if you have any ideas! TIA!
