The hinged lid can be lifted to reveal the 350ml dust bin as well as a 200ml water tank. The water tank self-empties and the bin auto-refilling.

The only issue I encountered in this model was the VibraRise mop pads mount is not removable. While you can replace the mopping cloth (if necessary), it's a pain to remove the mount itself to wash manually. I've found any plush carpet that the robot crosses will be in contact with the rough Velcro like fastener system on mounts, which could cause scratches.

The S8 Pro Ultra is equipped with a number smart features, including support for Google Home and Amazon Alexa. You can configure and manage these via the Roborock app which is also the home of its maps and advanced mopping settings. The app also allows you to schedule cleanings, track battery life and component maintenance. You'll have to go through some hoops to activate voice control on this model. It's a shame, considering how efficient it is otherwise.

3. Dreame X40

Users can program the X40 to clean at specific times, adjust suction power and mode, view floor plans and mapping and manage mopping settings. The X40 can also monitor its progress and notify you when it's finished.

The X40 is easy to maintain and comes with numerous features that make it an ideal option for busy families. The docking station can automatically cleans the dustbin and the mop pads, then refill them with fresh cleaning solution and water. It will also tell you the moment when the mop pad is at its maximum capacity and alert you to the situation before it spills.

4. L20 Ultra

The L20 Ultra robot vacuum best is one of the most expensive models available on the market. It does have many features that make it stand out. Smart DuoScrub, which is a new feature in its mop, utilizes two mop heads with high-speed motors to scrub floors more thoroughly. It also has a maximum suction force of 7,000Pa. This is more than the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra and Ecovacs Deebots T20 Omni. It can also vacuum up pet hair, dirt particles and remove spills and dirty spots.

The mop is also dried and cleaned inside the base station after each use. This is an excellent feature as it stops the growth of mould and unpleasant odours in storage, and also makes mop systems more efficient. This is a system we've yet to see on other Robot Vacuum Cleaners Best vacuum and mop models, and it could be a useful method of keeping your home clean for longer.

It's heavier than some of the other two-in-1 robots on this list, at 4kg however it's not overly heavy, and is sturdy and well-built. Mopping is well designed and the double-rotating mop is great for hard floors or in corners. They can even extend up to 2mm of baseboards due to the MopExtend feature which is a nice touch.
